Business Development Manager
The Business Development Manager is responsible for evaluating inbound leads, researching new client opportunities, and supporting a strong business pipeline for G&L Scientific. This role is highly analytical and research-driven, requiring domain knowledge in Regulatory, Market Access, and Quality Compliance.

As part of our global expansion, we are forming a Business Development team in Hyderabad. This team will ensure a strong pipeline of opportunities aligned with our global expertise.
The Role
Key Responsibilities:
Lead Qualification & Market Research (50%)
- Validate inbound leads from marketing campaigns, webinars, and industry forums.
- Conduct proactive outbound lead generation to identify and engage new prospects.
- Conduct background research on potential clients, assessing alignment with G&L’s core services.
- Maintain real-time lead tracking in CRM and update key insights on client needs.
- Leverage lead scoring methodologies (BANT analysis) and pipeline forecasting models to build a health business pipeline.
Market Intelligence & Opportunity Identification (15%)
- Monitor industry developments, regulatory shifts, and competitor strategies.
- Identify emerging opportunities in BioPharma, MedTech, and adjacent markets.
- Provide actionable insights to practice, commercial solutions, and marketing teams.
Sales Data Management (15%)
- Maintain and enrich global lead data with accuracy and relevance.
- Ensure data integrity and segmentation across sales data systems (e.g., CRM).
- Support automation efforts to improve lead tracking and reporting efficiency.
Stakeholder Engagement & Reporting (10%)
- Participate in cross-functional discussions across practice, commercial solutions, and marketing.
- Contribute to weekly pipeline reports, tracking progress against lead conversion targets.
- Support initiatives like whitepapers, industry reports, and knowledge-sharing sessions.
Requirements
Qualifications & Experience:
Education
- Bachelor’s or Master’s in Life Sciences, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or Regulatory Affairs.
Experience Requirements
- 4-7 years in Lead Qualification, Market Research, or Business Intelligence within Life Sciences.
- Understanding of Regulatory Strategy, Clinical Development, and Market Access dynamics.
- Experience using CRM tools (Salesforce, HubSpot) and business intelligence platforms.
